Dec. 1 -Milwaukee Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with a November 30 robbery in the Wal-Mart parking lot at 401 E. Capitol Drive. At about 9:15 p.m. three boys followed a 19-year-old woman to her car. One of the boys demanded the woman’s purse from her. He then tried to grab the purse, but the victim held on tightly. The suspect began to choke the victim, and when she fell to the ground he was able to break the strap and take the purse. The suspect then ran from the scene.

Milwaukee Police quickly responded and put a description of the suspects out over the police radio. As Sergeant Rochelle Gawin responded she saw three boys who matched the description and stopped them in the 3900 block of N. Fratney. Investigation revealed that the 15-year-old boy was the only one involved in the robbery and he was taken into custody.
