Help MPD Identify Cross-Dressing Bank Robber

Oct. 14 - The Milwaukee Police Department has released surveillance photos of the suspect in an October 13 armed robbery at the M&I Bank located at 8300 W. Silver Spring Drive.

At 12:38 p.m. the suspect, who disguised himself as a woman, entered the bank and presented a demand note to the teller threatening that he had a bomb. The suspect obtained money from the teller and fled.

The suspect is described as a black male between 25 and 35-years-old, 5’8”-6’, 160-180 lbs., medium build, dark complexion, wearing prescription eyeglasses, a curly brown shoulder length wig, red lipstick, a brown zip-front jacket with fur trim on the hood, a turquoise shirt, brown pants, and black shoes.
