Oct. 27 - Detectives from the Milwaukee Police Department developed information from a citizen that helped them identify and arrest the suspects responsible for the October 13 robbery at the M&I Bank located at 8300 W. Silver Spring.

Milwaukee Police arrested Johnny R. Bibbins, 35 of Milwaukee, on October 22. Bibbins is on parole for two prior robberies. Bibbins implicated Bobby R. McGhee, 35, as his getaway driver. McGhee was arrested and admitted to detectives that that he drove for Bibbins and that Bibbins gave him money for his efforts.

Bibbins and McGhee were each charged with one count of Robbery of a Financial Institution by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
