BARRETT INVITES RESIDENTS, BUSINESS OWNERS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS INTO CITY BUDGET PROCESS
  MAYOR WANTS PUBLIC TO HAVE A SAY IN WHERE THEIR MONEY GOES

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett is putting out an important call to city residents, business owners, community groups and others to have a say in how the City of Milwaukee shapes its budget next year during two public involvement hearings:
 

June 28, 5 - 7 p.m.
Clinton Rose Senior Center
3045 N. Martin Luther King Drive

 

July 10, 5 - 7 p.m.
Wilson Park Senior Center
2601 W. Howard Ave.

 
Each hearing will involve a group presentation by Mayor Barrett and the City of Milwaukee Budget staff which will lead to an open group discussion of funding priorities, current fiscal restraints and other issues of consideration.  A workbook will be provided to attendees that will illustrate how such items are considered.
 
The hearings are open to the public and media are invited.
