Jan. 19 - Milwaukee Police have arrested the suspect responsible for a December 7, 2009 bank robbery on Milwaukee’s northwest side.
Donte A. Rice, 27 of Milwaukee, gave the teller at the M&I Bank at 9001 N. 76th Street a note demanding money. Rice implied that he had a weapon when he was confronted by security. Rice then obtained money and fled the bank.
Surveillance video of the suspect was released to the local media and several people called MPD to identify the suspect. On January 9 officers found the suspect in a house on Milwaukee’s north side. Rice was arrested and charged by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office with one count of Robbery of a Financial Institution.
