Jan. 19 - Milwaukee Police have arrested two men from Milwaukee’s south side following an armed robbery at a McDonalds restaurant.
The suspects walked into the restaurant at 2612 W. Morgan at about 9:30 a.m. on December 29. One suspect, who was armed with a shotgun, went behind the counter and forced the manager to take him to the safe while the second suspect emptied money from the cash registers. Customers called 911 and officers arrived as the suspects were running out the door. The suspects ran, but officers quickly arrested both. The shotgun and money were recovered. The suspects later admitted the also committed a December 26 robbery at the Family Dollar store at 3045 S. 13th Street.
Anthony Milons, 20, and Harold Hayes, 19, have both been charged with two counts of Armed Robbery by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
