What is the Milwaukee Homicide Review Commission?

The Milwaukee Homicide Review Commission (MHRC) has been developed as a multi-level, multi-disciplinary, and multi-agency homicide review process aimed at reducing the occurrence of homicides in Milwaukee.

The mission of the MHRC is to better understand the nature of homicides, to strategically focus limited enforcement and intervention activities on identifiable risks, and to develop innovative responses that can lead to solutions. Through this mission, the MHRC aims to reduce homicides in Milwaukee in the long-term.
