Holton's Message

Milwaukee is a great city to eat, live, play and work. Therefore, when I was given the opportunity to return and become the City of Milwaukee Fire Department Fire Chief, it was an opportunity I could not pass by. It has been an honor to return to the city I was born and raised, as well as started my career as a firefighter. I am obliged to lead a group of passionate, dedicated firefighting personnel whom are committed to uphold the stellar reputation the Milwaukee Fire Department has with its constituents of the community.

It is also a privilege to work with the residents of the City of Milwaukee and to contribute to their overall safety. Our department continues to enhance the safety of those we serve through technological advancements, reestablishing protocols, and creating new procedures and measures to protect. It is my commitment as the Milwaukee Fire Department Fire Chief to always place the safety of our firefighters and citizens first. We are a department that effectively, and consistently, save lives and save property.

As we move forward as a department and a City, I look forward to the great things we shall accomplish together, and the accomplishments that have already been achieved. Under my term, the Milwaukee Fire Department will continue its custom to provide the best fire suppression and emergency medical services to the City, and in the country.
