Census Workers Needed

The U.S. Census Bureau is now recruiting for all positions with the 2010 Census. Testing is taking place Monday-Friday through November 15, at the Capitol Library, 3969 N. 74th St. Test times are 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. For more information on testing, call 1-866-861-2010 or 1-888-722-8995.

Ald. Witkowski Welcomes Police Chief Edward Flynn

Ald. Terry L. Witkowski welcomed Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn to Milwaukee during a special City Hall reception November 30, 2007. The alderman was also on hand as Chief Flynn was officially sworn in during a ceremony in the Council Chamber at City Hall on January 7, 2008. At the November reception Chief Flynn agreed to meet with the alderman and representives of 14 business and neighborhood associations from the 13th District to hear about public safety concerns.
