Please join us along with our many collaborative partners as we create a pathway to better educational opportunities, employment and training, foreclosure prevention, and much more. Northeast Side Area Plan
The final draft of the Northeast Side Area Plan is complete and has been posted to the Department of City Development's website: www.mkedcd.org/planning/plans/Northeast/pdfs/plan/NESDraft110308.pdf
All public comments have been incorporated in the plan. Hard copies are now available at East Library, King Library, Central Library, and the Legislative Reference Bureau in City Hall.
Here is the anticipated approval schedule:
- Monday, Nov. 10th, City Plan Commission (CPC)
Informational presentation and public comments
- Tuesday, Nov. 18th, Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development (ZND)
Official public hearing at Common Council's ZND Committee
- Thursday, Nov. 20th, Redevelopment Authority (RACM)
Informational presentation
- Tuesday, Dec. 16th, Common Council
Final approval by full Common Council
